Package Description

NProbleM In Game Item Editor is a full item behaviour editor for FiveM. It reads every item on your server, shows you what each one already does and which resource registered it, and lets you take any of them over with a behaviour you build from an in-game panel. Effects, conditions, progress bars and animations all come together in one resource, with no code, no config edits and no restarts.

Dependencies

oxmysql: required for secure and persistent item definitions, custom effects, cooldowns, daily limits and settings data storage.

ox_lib: used for callbacks, notifications and progress handling.

Features

Every Item in One List: The panel reads your whole item list and marks each one as managed by the editor, registered by another script, or not useable at all. Search by item name, label or the resource behind it.

See Who Owns an Item: Every useable item shows the resource that registered it and whether that resource is running right now, so you always know what a click on an item actually does.

Source Viewer: Before you replace an item, the Source tab shows the file, the line and the exact code of the registration you are about to displace, cut cleanly at its own end.

Take Over Any Item: Replace an item's behaviour completely, or run your effects alongside the original in chain mode. A takeover is applied instantly, and switching it off hands the item straight back to its original script.

Needs & Vitals: Hunger, thirst, stress, health, armour, revive, invincibility, stamina and underwater oxygen, with add, remove or set modes, and timed buffs that wear off on their own.

Screen Effects: Timecycle modifiers, screen effects, camera shake, night and thermal vision, plus overlays for vignette, colour wash, blur, pulse and grain. Timecycles and overlays fade smoothly in and out.

Movement Effects: Run speed, swim speed, super jump, drunk walk and ragdoll, timed and stacked with everything else on the item.

Animations & Props: Play any animation with a hand prop, set the bone, position and rotation, and hold the player still while it plays.

Inventory & Money: Give or remove items and give or take cash or bank money as part of an item's use, so one item can turn into another or cost money to use.

Triggers: Hand an item off to any client event, server event or export on your server, with your own argument list and the player id passed along. Built-in test targets let you check the wiring before writing a line of code.

Effect Chains: Stack up to 32 effects on a single item, reorder them freely and add wait steps between them. Client effects are sent in one batch, so a heavy item is still a single round trip.

Conditions: Lock an item behind a job, a gang, a cooldown per player or for the whole server, a daily use limit, a required item, a vehicle state, being alive or a zone on the map. Job, gang and zone checks can be inverted to block instead of allow.

Progress Bars: Give any item a bar or circle, at the middle or bottom of the screen, cancellable or not, and choose whether the player can walk, drive, fight or look around while it runs. Cancelling stops the item before it is taken.

32 Ready-Made Presets: Food, drinks, coffee, energy drinks, beer, whiskey, bandages, armour, painkillers, first aid kits, cigarettes, joints, drugs, night vision and thermal goggles and more, in six categories. Apply one to an item, tweak it and save.

Test on Yourself: Run the definition you are editing on your own character, saved or not. Conditions and consumption are skipped, and items and money never move during a test, so tuning an item costs you nothing.

Problem Detection: The editor spots items another resource quietly took back, and items whose owning resource is stopped and now does nothing when used. Both are flagged in the list and gathered under a Problems filter.

Grouped by Resource: Items registered by other scripts are grouped under the resource that owns them, biggest group first. Click any owner to pin that resource and see only its items.

Hunger, Thirst & Stress Routing: Works out of the box with QBCore metadata and esx_status. Using a different needs or HUD script? Point each need at your own event or export from the panel, test it on yourself and watch your HUD update.

Custom Effects: Add your own scripts to the editor from the panel. Name an effect, point it at your export or event, define its fields, and it appears in the effect picker beside the built-in ones with its own form.

ox_inventory Support: Takeovers on ox_inventory work at runtime through its item hook, with no edits to items.lua and no restarts. The few items that do need a one-line change are flagged with the exact line to paste.

Protected Items & Resources: List the items and resources the editor must never touch, whatever is set in the panel.

In-Game Admin Panel: Items, presets, testing and settings in one clean interface. Every item behaviour is saved to the database and applied without a restart, with no config files.

Built-In Debugging: A single command prints a full report of your setup and the last uses of every item, step by step, so any problem can be pinned down in minutes.

Discord & SQL Logging: Definition saves, deletions, takeovers, settings changes and item uses are logged to Discord with clean embeds and per-event webhooks, plus an optional SQL audit trail.

Server-Side Security: Every panel action is permission-checked and rate-limited on the server, every saved definition is validated against safe limits, and every condition is checked server-side when an item is used.

Smart Auto-Detection: Framework, inventory, notify and progress bar systems are detected automatically, with manual override available for full control. Supports ox_inventory, qb-inventory, qs-inventory, codem-inventory, origen_inventory and one_inventory.

Multi-Language: Ships with English, Turkish, French, Spanish, and German, translated all the way down to the names of every effect and field, and is easy to extend with your own locale.

Framework Compatibility: Fully compatible with QBCore, Qbox, and ESX, ensuring seamless integration with your server's core system.

Performance Focused: Highly optimized codebase designed for low resource usage, with a panel that stays fast on servers with thousands of items.
